Cramps in the legs are common characterized by pain and tightening of the muscles of the leg. Commonly occurring in the lower part of the calf and although last only a few seconds, the pain can feel for days.
Why do spasms in the legs?
Certain factors contribute to more frequent and more painful cramping in the legs. Some of these factors are:
- Hard exercise
- Overforcing of muscles
- Lack of minerals
- Poor circulation
What to do ?
A glass of warm water mix 1 teaspoon honey and 2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar. Drink this mixture.
Press the middle of the muscles with finger and hold for 15 seconds. After that, you will feel relief. Sometimes the easiest way to reduce the cramping legs is to strain the legs. If you feel a pain in the calf, stretch your foot up by hands. The warm water helps to relax muscles, so do warm compresses.
If you frequently suffer from cramps, the only prevention is frequent consumption of potassium, or bananas and potatoes. Banana eat daily and potato every 2-3 days.
