Lack Of Magnesium As A Cause For Depression

        Magnesium is essential for our health because it helps the body to regulate calcium, potassium and sodium. It also regulates more than 300 biochemical functions in the body at the same time. However it is considered that people do not consume enough magnesium, i.e. only 30% of adults use the recommended daily intake of magnesium.

        Very often we feel tired, cannot sleep and we are restless and anxious or depressed. These are actually some of the signs of magnesium deficiency in the body.
