Lemonade With Lavender – Beverage Against Headache, Insomnia And Depression

      The aromatic lavender is an excellent remedy against headache, anxiety, acts as an antibacterial agent, an antidepressant and a painkiller. It also helps in melancholy, insomnia, and has the ability to reduce labor pains. Some evidence suggests that aromatherapy with lavender helps in postoperative recovery. Lavender oil is amongst the finest oils and contains more than 150 healthy components.

     If you have trouble sleeping, have frequent headaches and you are depressed prepare yourselves lavender lemonade, which is a magical beverage for relaxation.

     You will need: 500 ml of water, 200 grams of sugar, 2 tablespoons of honey, 3 full tablespoons of dried lavender, 250 ml of lemon juice and 1 liter of water.

    Method of preparation: Put 500 ml of water in a pot together with 200 grams if sugar. Stir until the sugar is dissolved and the water starts boiling. Once the water starts boiling you need to add the honey and lavender. Cover the pot with its lid and let the mixture stand still for 15 minutes. Then filter the entire mixture through gauze or strainer and paste the filtered lavender syrup into a jug in which you need to add one liter of water and 250 ml of lemon juice. After cooling down the beverage is ready for consumption.
