    This very healthy fruit (Latin name: Diospyros kaki) is very rich in vitamin C, and boosts immunity.

    It contains three grams of fiber (that is, over 10 percent of the daily requirement). helps lower cholesterol levels and to regulate digestion. It contains a large amount of fructose, it is recommended in the diet of those who have elevated blood sugar levels.
