Aaccording to the American Psychiatric Association (APA), taking selfies may be evaluated as a kind of psychological disorder in humans.
This kind of photography, which is usually done with the front camera on mobile phones, can evolve into a disorder called selfitis. Initially, making selfies is down to three times a day without publishing the photos on social networks and then it comes to limited selfitis. According to psychiatrists, second phase is acute and involves taking selfies at least three times during the day and posting photos on social networks. The most serious problem have those people who have uncontrolled urge to photograph themselves and publish all those pictures on social networks and in this case it comes to chronic selfitis.
