The Healing Nature: Thyme


     Thyme effectively soothes pertussis , and is recommended for respiratory diseases. This plant has remarkable amount of iron, calcium, vitamin A and resins.

     It seems that the ancients knew much more about thyme (Thymus vulgaris) than we do today. Most medicinal part of the herb are leafs, because it has most of the essential oils and tannins, as well as the entire upper half of the plants while in blooming time.
