Turmeric – A Spice That Prevents Memory Loss


      Turmeric is a spice that brings many health benefits, scientists around the world have already recognized its characteristics and recommend its consumption, and even make turmeric pills. This spice improves process of digestion, possesses very good anti-inflammatory properties, helps in preventing diabetes, prevents the loss of memory and fights depression.

     The best known and most beneficial beverage made of turmeric is golden milk, which contains all the above mentioned health benefits. In order to prepare this delicious drink you first need to make a turmeric paste, and then the golden milk is made.

      Ingredients needed:

      For making the paste you will need 4 tablespoons of turmeric, ½ a teaspoon of black pepper and 120 ml. of water, and for preparation of the golden milk you will need 250 ml of milk, ½ a teaspoon of oil, ¼ to ½ a teaspoon of turmeric paste and a little honey in order to improve the taste.

      Method of preparation:

      First you need to put the ingredients in a pot and place the pot on fire in order for the paste to create. Transfer the resulting paste in a jar and store the jar in the refrigerator. Once the pasta has cooled, add the milk, turmeric paste and oil in a pot and place the pot on low fire. Cook right before the mixture achieves pre-boiling point. Remove the pot from the fire and add honey in order to enrich its taste.
