         Surveys have shown that if you eat two portions of any kind of leafy vegetables, for example spinach, kale or grape leaves, on a daily basis, your brain will be 11 years younger unlike people who do not eat this way.

         Such beneficial action of leafy vegetables is mostly due to the large amount of vitamin K. Nutrients in the food we consume daily are slowing the aging process of the brain, and even are returning its strength. Beta carotene, folate and lutein, also have an important role, which are a combination of nutrients that can preserve high cognitive abilities of people and postpone dementia.

         In Alzheimer’s disease the main problem is the reduction of cognitive abilities, so by consuming these green leafy vegetables we have finally found a way to prevent the disease or to prevent its progressive course.
