Women, Start Right Now: Two Servings Of This Dish A Week Guard Against Breast Cancer!


      Because this diet, women in Asia live much longer, they are leaner and healthier. The latest research shows that eating salmon twice a week can reduce the risk of breast cancer!

      The Chinese study published in the British Medical Journal showed that 2 servings of fatty fish, such as salmon, can reduce the risk of breast cancer. Oily fish is rich in omega -3 fatty acids. These fats are essential for the development of the brain and cardiovascular system, and also fight with any types of inflammation within the body. Unfortunately , statistics show that even in developed countries such as the UK, 9 out of 10 children and 65 % of adults never eat oily fish. What is worse, the body can not produce omega – 3 fats. Researchers analyzed 26 studies conducted in Asia, America and Europe. Their study included 80,000 participants and more than 20,000 are diagnosed with breast cancer. The results showed that only 0.1 % extra more power or  0.1 grams per day derived from omega -3, also reduces the risk of cancer by 5 %.

      Women should eat at least two servings of fatty fish such as herring, salmon, tuna, sardines or mackerel a week and each portion should be about 140 grams. White fish such as cod is also good, but not as rich in omega -3 fats like fatty fish. Women in Asia have the lowest risk of breast cancer because they eat fish frequently. Also, women who eat healthy foods are much slimmer, a healthy diet is an excellent prevention against breast cancer.
